December 9-11, 2009
New Orleans, LA
The 2009 grantee training will span two and a half days and cover a variety of topics from Ryan White history and legislation to reporting for
the Ryan White Data Report (RDR) to reporting for the new Ryan White Services Report (RSR). The focus will be on providing practical information and tips to help grantees understand the new client level reporting requirements.
Training will incorporate interactive activities and hands on exercises intended to increase grantee comfort level and understanding of data report content and system functionality.
Participants will receive hands-on training on how to use the Web system to report 2009 data and will be shown how to navigate HRSA's Electronic Handbooks (EHBs). In addition, there will be a grantee panel discussion providing real life examples of successes and challenges in data submission. The final day of training will conclude with a "town hall" style open forum for grantees to discuss their ideas and share perspectives.
While all Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program grantees are invited, HAB especially encourages attendance by grantees and staff who have not attended a past training. To review the agenda and session descriptions, see the box to the right.
Space Available in Scottsdale!
Grantees may register more than 1 person from their organization to attend the Western Regional Training in Scottsdale until all available spaces are filled.
Due to space limitations in New Orleans, we are asking that only one person per organization be registered for the Southeastern Regional Training at this time. Grantees may send a request for an additional person to attend the New Orleans training and any seats that are still available by November 25th will be offered to those on the stand-by list in order of the date of request, until all available spaces are filled.
